Our Process

As a Squarespace agency with over 10 years of experience we have a proven Squarespace design and development process. Our process consists of 4 specific phases, each vitally important to creating a professional Squarespace website for your business. We also offer a number of other services such as Squarespace Updates, Squarespace SEO, and Squarespace Help and Training.

1. Discovery & Collection

During this phase we’ll have an in depth phone call to discuss important items such as website architecture (pages), creative direction (how it will look), and your content strategy (brand, images, copy). At the end of this phase we'll all be on the same page with regards to overall project direction.

2. Squarespace Design & Development

This is where things get fun. We’ll get started designing and developing your Squarespace website. It is during this phase where you’ll get to see your new Squarespace website being built. You also have an opportunity to provide our team with revisions so you can get your Squarespace website just right.

3. Quality Assurance

Websites aren’t just viewed on a handful of screen sizes or web browsers. We’ll take your Squarespace website through a rigorous quality check to make sure your website is loading fast and performing properly on all device types, screen sizes, and web browsers.

4. Squarespace Website Launch

Now it’s time to go live. We’ll assist your team with launching your new Squarespace website. This includes connecting your domain name, writing necessary URL redirects, as well as providing a helping hand during the first few days of your Squarespace website being live.

How much does a Squarespace website cost?

Squarespace website design and development pricing is similar to other industries. Larger budgets allow for more custom developed features and design revisions. That said, even with a smaller budget we can still create an amazing looking Squarespace website for your business.

How long does it take to build a Squarespace website?

An average sized Squarespace website (5-7 pages) with 2 rounds of revisions will take on average 4 weeks from start to finish. This number can fluctuate depending on a number of factors including: total number of pages, number of design revision rounds, availability of the client, delivery of content and assets etc.

Do you offer Squarespace website management and maintenance?

We do! While Squarespace is a very intuitive platform with a great content management system, some clients don’t have the time for the upkeep and management of a website. We offer hourly updates and maintenance as well as a Membership program for clients who would like us to be their go-to web guys.


Do you help with creating content like photos, copy, and graphics?

Yes. A Squarespace website is only as good as the content on it. It is critical that you have a solid content strategy prior to starting the process of working with a Squarespace designer. If you need assistance with sourcing images, writing or editing copy, or selecting hi-res graphics to be used on your website, we can help.

Content creation, sourcing, and consulting is not included in our website design proposals. If you decide you would like our help with content we can add it to the proposal for an additional fee depending on your needs.
